I love Steins;Gate. It’s no surprise that its opening is one of my favorites, even if it refuses to follow most conventions followed by most anime openings. While it still consists of a character roll call, the main focus of the opening is the static and instability of the visuals. The inconsistency of anything in this opening draws the main idea of the series into its work, and the pure chaos just draws viewers into the show. Not to mention, Kanako Itou is a fantastic artist, and I love all her work, including all of the work she has done for the Sci;Adv series. All in all, Steins;Gate is still something to check out even today.
